Old Wood

After the Japanese garden we have made a path through the old wood. You will see on the right a Sequoia sempervirens(Californian red-wood) about fifty feet high after only forty years, a Sequoiadendron giaganteum (Wellingtonia) planted about a hundred years ago and then the Rhododendron dell in an old quarry.
